Special Tots

We are a small team comprising of a qualified teacher , play leader and portage educator with extensive experience of early years and disabilities. We are supported by a group of volunteers.
We provide education for pre-school children with additional needs/disabilities based on observation and detailed planning to help them reach their full potential.
£5 session or when a child is in receipt of Nursery Education Grant they will be required to use 2.5 hrs of their 15 hour allocation at Special Tots.
One session a week term time only where children can access the playroom. We deliver the early years foundation stage focussing on the prime areas of development and the characteristics of effective learning. We can act as lead professional, where capacity allows arranging or attending team around the child meetings. We offer the opportunity for parents to meet one another and gain support.
Children with complex or specific identified needs, can be referred to Special Tots. It would be usual for this referral to come from a health professional or educational setting.
