SENDIASS is well established in Swindon and we are proud of the links we have developed with many services and educational providers in the town. Our aim is to work with everyone involved with a child to achieve the best result for that child.
We are a small service offering confidential impartial support and advice around all aspects of Special Educational Needs and Disability. We help parents and carers and young people to make informed choices based on knowledge of their rights and responsibilities. Requests for individual casework need to be submitted through the online form on the website.
Group drop in sessions can be provided.
This is a free service
Support with preparing for and attending meetings. Help with understanding formal reports and submitting appropriate paperwork. Advice given by phone or email. Individual case work when required. Understanding current legislation including recent changes such as EHC Plans. Support with various appeals procedures.
